Commemorating the commendable successes of AJS's USA Sales Manager Mike Jackson - in the November 1971 Barstow to Vegas, District 37, Mojave Desert race.
A line-up of some 3,200 riders, faced a gruelling 190 mile course that included such hazards as deep sand, steep dunes, a snowy mountain pass, millions of rocks and out-of-control fellow competitors!
Based on the AJS Cadwell/Tempest platform the '71 Desert Scrambler will be sure to thrill and inspire you with every twist of the throttle.

The '71 Desert Scrambler comes out the same factory as the rest of the Heritage range, however this model uses the Mikuni EFI system. Other features include:
